Craig´s Property Development
Craig purchased and renovated his own first house in 1995; a derelict detached cottage in Shropshire - within the grounds he built a 120 sq metre detached triple garage. The garage has subsequently been converted into a TV studio workshop; used for the entire recording of 2 series of Discovery Realtime´s ´Boyz In the Wood´, this continues to be used for TV productions and media photo shoots.
In 2003 / 04 he purchased a 19 room Victorian grade 2 listed building, designing and renovating this into 4 luxury apartments for Discovery Realtime series ´Conversion´ a series executive produced by Craig through his own TV company.
In 2006 Craig renovated a second listed building next door to the ´Conversion´ house, this time having 21 rooms converting it into another 4 luxury apartments.
In 2007 Craig renovated a 4 storey building from a derelict shell into 4 high spec single bedroom apartments creating jobs for many local tradesmen and trainees.
As with all Craig´s projects including listed property projects, he and his team strive to achieve the balance of maintaining and restoring the original external features of the buildings, whilst transforming interiors to stylish 21st century looks.
By Craig´s continuous involvement in his own private developments and regularly advising millions of people on TV; he prides himself on keeping up to date on new or improved building methods and materials available, ongoing changes in building and planning regulations and most importantly health and safety regulations.
Craig´s next £500,000 building project in Liverpool´s European Capital of Culture year 2008 will be to, completely re-build a 28 room Victorian house again a grade 2 listed building which was bombed in the mid 1940´s during World War II creating a further 5 high spec luxury apartments. Hopefully Craig´s TV company Avent Productions will be commissioned to follow the project and you´ll get to see it stage by stage.
Today Craig´s property portfolio continuously grows with his success, now having 30 dwellings within his portfolio across the UK. This gives him the opportunity to continually offer trainees from his building academy a placement within his team to serve their apprenticeships on his projects.
Craig has personally contributed more than £2.5 million pounds into helping regeneration in Merseyside by renovating derelict historical listed properties.
