This weekend, Craig took part in the first Liverpool Marathon in 18 years! The race saw around 9,000 entrants from not only Merseyside but also countries across the globe flock to the capital of culture to race 26.2 miles around the region.
Craig, whose impromptu decision to take part allowed him only a couple of months training, finished the race in an impressive 4 hours and 56 minutes.
As a marathon ambassador Craig proudly wore his "Runner No. 1" bib as he ran to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society, a cause which he frequently supports as it is a cause close to his heart; Craig's mother suffers with the disease.
Pleased with his time and vastly improved fitness levels, Craig has decided to continue training and has already booked himself in to next year's Liverpool marathon and the London Marathon!
Craig is just £80 from raising his £2,000 target and is continuing to welcome donations which can be given: here.
