The 10-part series, If It's Broke Fix It, will see two teams attempt home improvement tasks in their own properties. Craig will teach the previously clueless DIY types all they need to know to complete the jobs they have avoided.
Seaforth-born Craig said:
"We had a couple of ladies from Allerton competing against two lads from Wirral. It was great to film in Merseyside. The lads were very confident they were going to win but viewers will have to wait and see what happened.
Two sets of people go head to head — they could be two families or two friends. They come into my workshop in Shropshire and I teach them all the necessary skills to fix real DIY dilemmas in their own homes.
The teams then had 48 hours to complete their tasks. It is unique because there's a competitive element to it too. I judge who's done the best job so it's like a game show. The winner gets a golden hammer and £500 of DIY vouchers.
They also learn how much money they have saved by completing the work themselves, instead of calling in a professional."
If It's Broke Fix It is on Home, weeknights at 9pm (Sky 246, Virgin 265).
