Nowhere Boy UK charity premiere.
Last night I attended the UK charity premiere of 'Nowhere Boy' Icon Films new John Lennon biopic. The evening was in aid of Alder Hey's Imagine appeal which I am a great supporter of.
I had a great time and said hello and well done to some of the films young stars including Aaron Johnson who plays John. Liverpool's own David Morrissey who is also a great supporter of Imagine appeal introduced the evening and later on I had a chat with him and commended him on his own performance.
Also amongst those in attendance members of John Lennon's original Quarrymen www.originalquarrymen.co.uk whom I have had the pleasure to meet on one or two previous occassions they all were surprised at how accurate the film was.
The film is out nationwide on Boxing Day and I highly reccomend it,
